ATARAXIA CARE
We make a Difference in your lives
Ataraxia care seeks to empower elders and people with disabilities, enabling them to live freely by removing barriers, fostering opportunities for achievement, and improving quality of life. Our business provides services to New South Wales’ Newcastle and Lower Hunter Regions.

Wound Management
A wound may take a long time to heal and needs special attention to prevent infection. This is why you require the experience of a qualified nurse who has received training in wound management and is skilled in treating, evaluating, and managing wounds.
In collaboration with your GP, our specialised nurses are trained to treat all types of wounds, including abrasions, lacerations, surgical wounds, chronic wounds, and wounds resulting from serious injuries.

Medication Management
It is easy to follow the doctor’s prescription, take the right meds at the right times (tablets, syrups, drops, ointments, and inhalers), keep an eye on side effects, and communicate with the doctor when you have a knowledgeable nurse on your side.
Our nurses manage every aspect of medicine administration, including dosage modifications, monitoring medical data, and ensuring you never run out of medication.

Peg Tube Management
For the best possible quality of life, we offer superior Percutaneous Endoscopic Gastronomy (PEG) care and help at home. This will enable you to become independent.
Our skilled nurses are experts in managing peg tubes, and they can help you with medicine administration, hydration and food intake, as well as any other guidance and support you might require, as directed by your doctor.
